Jamie Foxx has been released from the hospital and his condition is improving, according to an Instagram story his daughter Corinne posted this afternoon (May 12). Sharing a post from RapTV headlined “JAMIE FOXX’S LOVED ONES REPORTEDLY PREPARING FOR THE WORST,” she rebuked the unfounded rumors about her father’s health, including at least one claim from earlier today that he was “on Life Support in ICU.”
“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” Corinne Foxx wrote. “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!” (RapTV has since deleted their aforementioned post, meaning Foxx’s story is now unavailable, but you can find it screenshotted below via Variety.)

Jamie Foxx was hospitalized on April 12 with an undisclosed “medical complication“ and did not address the public until last week. “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed 🙏🏿❤️🦊,” he wrote in an Instagram post, not offering any further update on his condition.
