Daft Punk announce Random Access Memories (Drumless Edition)
The 10th anniversary of RAM continues with the newly announced edition, due out November 17.
Daft Punk are keeping the celebration of Random Access Memories’ 10th anniversary rolling with the announcement of a new version of the record, sans drums. Random Access Memories (Drumless Edition) is due out November 17, spotlighting the Grammy-winning LP’s non-percussive elements as never heard before outside the studio.
The rollout of the pulseless project starts today with the release of “Within (Drumless Edition),” which — you guessed it — has 100 percent less drums than the original version of RAM’s fourth track, centering Chilly Gonzalez’s pensive piano.
