Wilco have announced their 13th studio LP. Cousin is due out September 29 via the stalwart Chicago band’s own label, dBpm Records, and its lead single, “Evicted,” is out now. The forthcoming record is produced by Welsh multi-talent Cate Le Bon, marking the first time Wilco have enlisted an outside producer since they recorded 2007’s Sky Blue Sky. “I’m cousin to the world,” the group’s longtime frontman Jeff Tweedy says, remarking on the project’s title in a press release. “I don’t feel like I’m a blood relation, but maybe I’m a cousin by marriage.”
