CEO Trayle is constantly innovating, but he’s an old soul. “xXxtortion,” Trayle’s first single since the release of his March mixtape, The Collection Vol. 2, places his slippery, irregular flow over a laid-back instrumental with a classic aura. “Mr. stay on his business / Mr. I want a Draco for Christmas / Mr. shoot with the quickness,” he raps early on, rattling off epithets for himself over a velvety west-coast bass line and trap drums that give the beat a subtle hint of ominous urgency.
