NTWRK and Honda tap designer Peder Cho to bring an auto-inspired capsule collection to life
The Los Angeles-based designer will share his creative process and more on a special episode of Honda’s “Dream It Yourself” at DesignerCon.
Livestream shopping platform NTWRK is teaming up with Los Angeles-based designer Peder Cho and Honda to air an upcoming episode of the Japanese auto giant's digital series "Dream It Yourself."
Airing on December 15 at 4 PM PST on both NTWRK's app and Honda's DreamLab Twitch channel, Cho will share his creative product design process while creating a one-of-a-kind patchwork chair from scratch live from DesignerCon. Known for meticulously upcycling vintage luxury and athletic apparel, and teaching his followers how to do the same, Cho's Utopia by Cho brand has expanded to include full collections and made its NYFW debut earlier this year. The upcoming episode will mark Cho's second appearance on the show, which invites guests to complete a project in 100 minutes or less.
In addition, Cho designed an exclusive "Honda by Utopia" capsule collection that includes a utility vest, bucket hat, and a unique leather keychain. Inspired by the brand's Civic Type R vehicle and designed using Honda Rallye, a custom shade of red available for upcoming 2024 models, Cho used quilted nylon, soft leather, and natural sherpa with car interior and racing motifs as finishing touches.
