Showtime has revealed the wide release date for The Curse, a long-anticipated series created by Benny Safdie and Nathan Fielder. After its first three episodes premiere at the 2023 New York Film Festival on October 12, the show’s pilot episode will air Friday, November 10 on the premium channel, as well as Paramount+ for Showtime subscribers.
The series stars Fielder and Emma Stone as a couple attempting to conceive a child and start their own home improvement show — efforts derailed by the show’s eponymous curse. Benny Safdie will also act in the show, as will Barkhad Abdi, Corbin Bernsen, and Constance Shulman. Safdie’s brother and frequent creative partner, Josh Safdie, is signed on as an executive producer.
Along with The Curse’s release date, Showtime has shared an “extended look” at the series in the form of several stills from the show. See those below.
