Lil Wayne has performed a run of tracks at the 2023 MTV VMAs. Starting off with the introduction to Juvenile's "Back That Azz Up," Wayne quickly dropped into "Uproar" and his recent single "Kat Food." Watch his performance below.
The five-time Grammy-winning rapper from Hollygrove, New Orleans — six if you count his the honorary Grammy he was awarded this year — has been a regular guest artist at celebrations of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary this year. He performed as part of a large group of legends at the 2023 Grammys, with a stacked lineup at Run D.M.C.’s Hip-Hop 50 party at Yankee Stadium last month, and, most recently, at Vice President Kamala Harris’s own semicentennial rap event on her Washington, D.C. property this past weekend.
