Report: Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato end their working relationships with Scooter Braun
But Justin Bieber has denied reports that he has split with the manager.
Scooter Braun, one of the most powerful and well know managers in the music world, has lost two major clients. Billboard reports that Ariana Grande is no longer represented by Braun while Demi Lovato also recently ceased working with the 42-year-old. Grande and Braun's working relationship went back to 2013 while Lovato was a client of his company SB Projects since 2019.
News of these departures follows a report in May that J Balvin had also left SB Projects. He is now represented by Jay Z's firm Roc Nation. However, rumors that Justin Bieber, who Braun has worked with since his breakthrough as a tween star, is also leaving manager are seemingly off the mark. Bieber and Braun have both denied suggestion that the "Peaches" singer is seeking new representation.
Braun’s remaining roster includes Carly Rae Jepsen, Quavo, Ozuna, The Kid Laroi, Black Eyed Peas, Lil Dicky, and David Guetta, among others. In 2021 HYBE, home of BTS, bought Braun’s Ithaca Holdings in a deal for an undisclosed amount.
The FADER has reached out to Grande and Lovato’s representatives for comment.
