Cherry Glazerr have announced their fourth studio album. I Don’t Want You Anymore is set for a September 29 Secretly Canadian arrival, and its lead single/closing track, “Soft Like a Flower,” is out today (July 12). Helmed by fearsome singer and shredding lead guitarist Clementine Creevy, the new song — belied by its title — is a thrashy scorcher that picks up right where the Los Angeles band’s most recent record, 2019’s Stuffed and Ready, left off, but with more powerful production courtesy of Yves Rothman.
Creevy & Co.’s collaborative journey with Rothman began with a 2021 cover of Metallica’s “My Friend of Misery” and grew from there into a fully formed LP. “The songs on this one are songs I’ve dreamed of making,” Creevy says of the forthcoming project.
