The B-sides project is canonical Jepsie lore by now, so when Carly Rae Jepsen put out The Loneliest Time last year, we all knew to expect more music sooner rather than later. The pop singer and FADER Interview alum acknowledged this herself in a note posted to Twitter earlier today: "At this point you know me so well that I won’t even tease about a b sides. It’s almost disrespectful because you know that it’s coming."
Carly also officially named the companion project (it'll be called The Loveliest Time), and shared that it's out next month. "I can’t really call it a b sides as if these were cast off ideas," she wrote, "it’s the completed set to a body of work that taught me so much about love and loneliness and myself." Last month, Carly released "Shy Boy," which is expected to appear on the upcoming album. Read her whole message below.
