Beyoncé‘s Renaissance tour began on May 10 in Stockholm and has already attracted acclaim for its bold spectacle, staging, and, of course, the performance from pop’s greatest star. In an effort to showcase the massive amount of collective effort that goes into creating such a production, Beyoncé has shared the Renaissance tour credits on her official website.
Unsurprisingly, Beyoncé gets top billing as the director, executive producer, and creative director (if you’ve watched the Homecoming documentary from 2019, you know how detail-oriented Beyoncé is with her shows). The massive list covers everyone that makes the tour happen, from the people whose work fans can see on stage to the behind-the-scenes crew assigned to the logistical and business end. Naturally, all of these people need to eat, which is probably why there are 14 chefs on the tour.
Tina Knowles Larson, Beyoncé’s mother, teams up with her daughter once again to assist with the Renaissance tour costume design — Knowles Larson designed costumes for Beyoncé’s group Destiny’s Child and has gone on to work on major motion pictures.
Renaissance won several awards at the 2023 Grammys: Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Dance/Electronic Music Album. The trophies made Beyoncé the winningest artist in Grammys history.
