Tyler, The Creator and A$AP Rocky share “Wharf Talk” video
It’s one of eight new tracks on Tyler’s first ever deluxe album, Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale.
Today (March 31) marks the release of Tyler, The Creator’s first-ever deluxe album. Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale features eight new tracks in addition to the 16 cuts on the original 2021 record (The FADER’s second favorite album of the year). Tyler had already released two tracks from the extended edition — “Dogtooth” and “Sorry Not Sorry” — each with its own music video. And today, to celebrate the drop, he’s shared visuals for a third Estate Sale cut: “Wharf Talk,” featuring his longtime friend and collaborator, A$AP Rocky.
The new, self-produced track places Tyler’s cooing R&B vocals over an extremely Pharrell-indebted instrumental, with A$AP joining for a breezy, low-stakes verse late in the song. The video finds Tyler sitting in a lush field on a picnic date with himself and, later, packing his bags to join A$AP on an idyllic seaside dock.
