Brian Warner (Marilyn Manson) has reached a settlement with Game of Thrones actress Esmé Bianco, who sued him in federal court in 2021, accusing him of sexual assault and battery. In her initial complaint, she also alleged that Warner had violated California’s human trafficking laws and perpetrated various other forms of physical and emotional abuse against her over the course of their sexual relationship.

“Ms. Bianco has agreed to resolve her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc.,” a representative of Warner’s lawyer, Howard King, quoted the attorney as saying in an email to The FADER. Bianco’s attorney, Jay Ellwanger, did not immediately respond to The FADER’s request for comment but offered Rolling Stone (where news of the settlement was first reported) an identical statement to King’s, with the addendum that Bianco had agreed to the settlement “in order to move on with her life and career.”

In early January, a California judge dismissed another 2021 sexual assault lawsuit filed against Warner by a former partner (in this case, model and entertainer Ashley Morgan Smithline). A March 2022 defamation lawsuit Warner filed against Evan Rachel Wood — who detailed her own abuse allegations against him in an HBO documentary titled Phoenix Rising — is ongoing. And the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is still reviewing the findings of an L.A. Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau’s criminal investigation into the multiple abuse and sexual assault claims against Warner.
