Sophie Allison (Soccer Mommy) has shared the fifth visual treatment for a track from her third studio LP, Sometimes, Forever. The new video for “Feel It All The Time” comes courtesy of Zev Magasis — a frequent collaborator with Alex G and Supreme — and follows ones for “Shotgun,” “Unholy Affliction,” “Bones,” and “newdemo.”
The clip finds Allison exploring her inner cowgirl, donning a 10-gallon (approx.) hat and driving a pickup truck through the suburbs, passing picturesque lawns and drab strip malls along the way. She also rides a horse through the woods, though — in an unexplained twist — she does so while wearing a medieval helmet and toting a sword.
“‘Feel It All The Time’ is a song that felt really easy and honest for me as soon as I wrote it,” she shares in a press release. “It uses this idea of an old truck to kind of compare this feeling of aging too fast. There are also these glimpses of light and freedom, from something as simple as the wind in your hair, that can make you feel alive.”
