On the heels of his stacked Black Soprano Family compilation Long Live DJ Shay — a tribute to the long-time Griselda producer who died from COVID-19 in August 2020 — Benny The Butcher has joined his latest BSF signee on a track. “80 Bills,” the brand new bop from Benny’s fellow Buffalo emcee ElCamino, is produced by OptiVision and arrives alonside a simply shot but crisply edited visual treatment courtesy of A4L Productions. The new song’s title is a reference to a particularly strong season from Benny and ElCamino’s hometown NFL team and has the urgency of a fourth-quarter two-minute drill. “I know these n***as wann’ stunt like a gang / But that won’t happen, they money too slow / We the Sopranos, bitch, the mob / You know the record a hundred and O,” Benny leads off, setting a high lyrical bar his new creative partner makes a valiant effort at reaching in his own verse later on. “N***as be duckin’ they murder beef / I handle my business sturdily / Little n***a do you dirtily / EMS tryna get you there urgently,” ElCamino raps, flexing his newfound status as a made man in Central New York’s most intimidating crew.
