Mass Appeal have announced the first installment of their Hip-Hop 50 series, a string of five-track EPs from 10 legendary producers to celebrate half a century of rap music and culture. DJ Premier: Hip-Hop 50 Volume 1 kicks off the series with beats by the ultra-prolific Primo himself and features from Joey Bada$$, Remy Ma, Rapsody, Nas, Run The Jewels, Slick Rick, and Lil Wayne (in order of appearance). The rest of the forthcoming projects will be produced by Swizz Beatz, Mustard, The-Dream, Mike Will Made It, No I.D., Hit-Boy, Take A Daytrip, and Tainy.
