Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their first child into the world, multiple outlets report. According to initial reports from TMZ and Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna gave birth to a baby boy on Friday, May 13 in Los Angeles. Neither A$AP nor Rihanna has commented on these reports. The FADER has reached out to representatives of both artists for confirmation.
Rihanna's pregnancy was revealed in January via a photo shoot of her and Rocky published by People. Since that announcement, she's assured her fans a follow-up to her 2014 eight studio LP Anti is still on the way, though she's also said she's looking at her next project "completely differently" from the perspective of an expecting mother. In November, she was honored as a national hero in her home country, Barbados. And last month, she made her debut on the Forbes billionaires list with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion.
