Louis CK wins Best Comedy Album at the 2022 Grammys
Sincerely Louis CK beat out records by Lavell Crawford, Chelsea Handler, Kevin Hart and more for the award.
Louis CK's Sincerely Louis CK won Best Comedy Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The album beat out competition from Lavell Crawford's The Comedy Vaccine, Chelsea Handler's Evolution, Lewis Black's Thanks For Risking Your Life, Nate Bargatze's The Greatest Average American, and Kevin Hart's Zero Fuck's Given.
Tonight's Grammy win was Louis CK's second, following another Best Comedy Album award for his 2015 Live At Madison Square Garden record, and his first since sexual misconduct allegations from five women temporarily derailed his career in 2017. In November, Grammy president and CEO Harvey Mason Jr. defended the Recording Academy's decision to uphold the nominations of CK and Marilyn Manson (tapped for his work on Kanye West's Donda), who has been accused of rape by Evan Rachel Wood and sexual abuse by more than a dozen other women.
