Rising Nigerian singer Tomi Thomas teamed up with reggae and dancehall legend Buju Banton for his latest single "Hurricane." Taken from his debut EP Hopeless Romantic, the track finds both artists comparing love to a force of nature over bouncy, guitar-driven production.
Its stormy visuals find Thomas and Banton braving the aftermath of tumultuous, but beautiful, lightning, rains, and winds. "The music from within will always transcend time and space," Tomi Thomas said of the track.
Thomas shared his six-track EP, Hopeless Romantic, back in June, a project that incorporates a range of influences from Afrobeats to dancehall.
