Kaytranada dropped his own take on Robert Glasper's single "Better Than I Imagined," turning the piano-led ballad into a soulful, mid-tempo groove still featuring H.E.R. and Meshell Ndegeocello.
The song's original version, which picked up a 2021 Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Song, is set to appear on Glasper's Black Radio 3, dropping sometime next year. Earlier this month, Kaytranada also received a Grammy nod for Best New Artist, while H.E.R. grabbed nominations for Best R&B and Song of the Year.
This isn't the first time Glasper and Kaytranada have worked together. Back in 2018, the pair dropped The Artscience Remixes, an 8-track project featuring Kaytranada's reworkings of Glasper's 2016 project ArtScience.
