Carly Rae Jepsen shares new song/video “Me And The Boys in The Band”
A brand new, quarantine-friendly visual.
Carly Rae Jepsen is tapping into an impressive reserve of quarantine productivity for a brand new song and music video called "Me And The Boys In The Band."
The new visuals dropped on Tuesday, and feature Jepsen and her bandmates — all shot separately, thanks to COVID — performing their parts of the song in their homes. Both the visuals and the homespun pop song itself are cute tributes to tour life and the camaraderie it fosters. Watch the video above.
The new song comes after Jepsen announced that her follow-up to her 2019 project Dedicated would be writing a "quarantine album" with Tavish Crowe, co-writer of Jepsen's global smash "Call Me Maybe." In May, Jepsen released the Dedicated companion album Dedicated Side B. Read our interview with Jepsen here.
