The last time we heard from PG County, Maryland standout rapper Goonew, he was flipping theme music used for 90s teen sitcom Moesha to talk about how he'd do damage to his adversaries. The song, aptly titled after the show, is featured on the rapper's recent Back From Hell mixtape, which is slightly based around the concept of him returning from the dead. And thanks to area producers like Sparkheem, Mannyvelli, and Spizzledoe, Back From Hell's overall sound properly channels the spookiness of someone fresh out of the underworld.
Today, The FADER is premiering the video for the tape's title track, which is arguably the most eerie song on the project. Over key punches, Goonew repeats the song's title throughout the hook, including backing vocals that sound like Satan himself is singing along. It's the perfect stage for the Maryland rapper to go on about his favorite topic: leaving his enemies in the dirt. The video doesn't quite reflect the spooky nature of the track, as it mostly follows Goon and friends around during a recent trip to NY. Either way, it doesn't take away from how hard the track slaps. Watch the video above.
