Irish producer Sacred Animals wants to explore the seemingly mundane period of time that leads up to, and follows, a major step in any process. On his new song "Mono," he contrasts that with synths that gently tap on your ears and it feels like time creaks to a halt. Meanwhile, the dancer in the self-directed video explodes with energy in an empty pool.
According to Sacred Animals in an email, the song is "a visceral speeding journey through that split second where you’ve an understanding of what it means to be a spirit having a human existence, just before you’ve lost it again."
Get lost in the space between above. "Mono" comes as the second single off of Sacred Animals' upcoming project Odin’s Wain which is due out this year.
