Toronto-based artists Jonah Yano and BADBADNOTGOOD recently dropped the visuals for their collaborative single "nervous", the first from Yano's upcoming EP. The song's thumping, acid jazz bassline offers the perfect backdrop for Yano's soulful vocals and is exactly what you might expect from BBNG.
Directed by Yano, the video lives up to the track's name with an almost uncomfortable, shaky close-up shot of the singer putting just enough uncertain trust in someone else. The artist went on to explain the video to The FADER via email. "[The video] perfectly captures the moment in time that 'nervous' is about, where [he] was falling really really really in love like never before and how [he] just had to let it happen - the same way you just have to let your partner draw on your face sometimes."
