Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert always make magic when they rap together, whether it's on Carti's album tracks like "*wokeuplikethis" and "Shoota," or on the odd SoundCloud loosie. Speaking with REAL 92.3, Carti said it's just a small sample of the finished music they have together, which he claimed clocks in at "like 100" collaborative songs. “We’ve been recording since like 2015, so we know what we got to do," Carti said. Carti and Uzi's collaboration was at one point rumored to extend to a full-length mixtape called 16.29, but it never materialized. The two were also scheduled to go out on tour in 2017 before Uzi cancelled. If the 100 songs exist, it's not even the biggest number of unreleased collabs Uzi's made with another artist: in May, Uzi claimed he and Young Thug have 1,500 unreleased songs.
