The Wausau Daily Herald reports that Kyle Frenette, better known as the manager of Bon Iver, is switching gears and giving politics a shot. The Middle West Management co-founder intends to run for the Democratic nomination for a Congressional District in Wisconsin. Apparently, Frenette revealed the news in an out-of-office reply from his Middle West email account which includes a link to donate to his campaign. He also made the following statement in the message: "This state and this country are in desperate need of better leadership."
Frenette will reportedly make a formal announcement his candidacy in the coming weeks. At the moment, he currently has "Candidate for Congress in WI-07" written in his bio on Twitter.
