Mikey Alfred and the good folks at skate brand and film company Illegal Civilization have teamed up with The FADER to make a short film entitled Summer of 17. The clip follows a group of friends as they skate their way through a typical summer day in Southern California.
The short film features cameos from Tyler, The Creator and Aminé and will be premiering on Illegal Civ's Cinema Tour, which is currently underway. In addition to performances from Denzel Curry and Show Me The Body, the tour includes a short film contest, where attendees in each city can submit their own short films. The winners of the contest will be flown out to Tyler, The Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw festival to debut their films alongside Summer of 17.
