Jeremy Corbyn will appear on the main stage at Glastonbury this year, The Guardian reports. Corbyn will speak to crowds from the Pyramid Stage on Saturday, June 24 before introducing Run The Jewels's performance.
Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis said of the booking: “We’re Corbyn fans, that’s the thing. He’s got something new and precious, and people are excited about it. He really is the hero of the hour.” Festival organzier Emily Eavis, meanwhile, added: “It’s great to see somebody who’s engaging young people so much.”
El-P of Run The Jewels, meanwhile, responded on Twitter:

Corbyn was scheduled to appear at last year’s Glastonbury before cancelling following the results of the referendum on Brexit.
Glastonbury Festival takes place between June 23-25. This year's headliners include Radiohead, Foo Fighters, and Ed Sheeran.
