G Herbo is gearing up to release his debut album, Humble Beast — but first, he's dropped off a visual for "Take Me Away," a loosie track from December. Filmed in what he characterizes as a "getaway" setting, the Chicago rapper reflects on the violence that's devastating his city: “I'm from a place where it ain't safe to put my gun away / This street shit ain't fun no more, they took the fun away.”

"When you come from the places I come from, you visualize that type of getaway to a place like where we shot the video, but it's a vision that you never think you'll ever really touch." Herbo told The FADER over email.
