Chance the Rapper dropped in for an interview at Chicago's Power 92 Friday morning, where he told a few stories and touched on a few topics of note.
For one, Chance talked about his Coloring Book Grammy wins, and in the process, about working with the "legends," Kanye, 2 Chainz and Wayne. In talking about "No Problem," he also let loose a behind-the-scenes detail about a feature that wasn't meant to be: "I had thought about getting Future on the record for a long time. I don't know why, but I never sent it to Future," he said, explaining that soon after hearing that the College Grove album was in the works, he decided he'd send it to 2 Chainz instead.
Fortunately, Chance and Future apparently made a collab happen eventually. No word on when it'll drop, but it definitely exists.
The rest of the interview is also worth a watch, as Chance dives deep on an impromptu performance for Barack, his favorite Kanye moments, fatherhood and more. Watch up top.
