Chance the Rapper will headline a show celebrating a decade of his breakout 2013 mixtape Acid Rap. The live show, which will be held at Chicago's United Center on August 19, is part of a series of "live events, pop-ups, merch drops, and special music releases" according to promoters Live Nation.
In addition to the Chicago date, Chance has also confirmed that the Acid Rap song "Juice" will be available on streaming services for the first time from April 30.
Tickets for the Acid Rap show will be available via various pre-sales from Wednesday, April 26 with general sale tickets available from Friday, April 28 at 10 a.m. local time. The show will also feature fellow Chicago rapper Saba as support.
As well as celebrating the anniversary of Acid Rap (and being a coach on the current season of The Voice) Chance is working toward the release of Star Line Gallery, his first project since 2019’s The Big Day. He released five singles in 2022, including "Child of God," a collaboration with Gabonese artist and painter Naïla Opiangah.
