In January Soulja Boy and Chris Brown promised to turn their social media beef into a full-fledged boxing match, sponsored by Floyd Mayweather's company TMT. On Sunday, Soulja claimed on Twitter that Chris Brown's contract was still unsigned, and unleashed a volley of taunts. See them below. "Nigga talked all that Shit just to back down and not sign the paper work. Not about that life. No action," he wrote.
On Monday, Soulja Boy tweeted that Chris Brown's manager had contacted Soulja Boy's and called off the fight. He also appeared to back off from his previous insults: "I aint gon say he a bitch or he shook or nothing."
Soulja Boy is currently facing two felony charges after being arrested for violating his probation in December.
Representatives for Chris Brown and Soulja Boy were not immediately available for comment.
