London O’Connor Laments Digital Dependence In His “Nobody Hangs Out Anymore” Video

“All my friends are on the net, and all of us are out of it.”

London O'Connor has shared a new, self-directed video for "Nobody Hangs Out Anymore," a somber song about isolation and digital dependence. In the visual, O'Connor watches TV in a surreal yellow room and pours golden sand from a milk carton into his bowl of cereal, singing, "All my friends are on the net / and all my friends are in the net / and all of us are out of it / and none of us are into it." O'Connor, along with Tyler Mitchell, Olivia Bee, Sarah Favreau, and more, stare emotionless into the camera as they repeat the song's lonely refrain. London O'Connor's 2015 O∆ album is seeing a remastered release via True Panther on February 17.
