Don't share anything with the world you're not proud of. It's an essential and double-edged dictum, and the central theme of "Average," the new track from Lou Phelps. The song's rotoscoped video, premiering today on The FADER, stars the Montreal rapper as he mobs in rural surroundings to a psychedelic, funky beat produced by his brother Kaytranada (the two have collaborated on a mixtape, Supreme Laziness, as The Celestics.) Kallitechnis pops up near the end to sing a soulful expansion on Phelps's vendetta against empty flexing.
