On November 4, Common shared Black America Again, the Chicago rapper's eleventh studio album. Today, the album's titular single "Black America Again" has received a remix featuring Gucci Mane and Pusha T. If you're surprised at the appearance of these two artists on a so-called "conscious rapper's" song, Gucci's opening verse reminds us that these musical borders are imagined: "From the 6 to the Chi, got so much in common/ Gucci Mane and Common, did you see this coming?" For his part, Pusha ruminates on his newly-political life and turbulent past, "just like Malcom 'fore the X was on him." Listen below.
