Erykah Badu Teases New Video With Robert Glasper

On Tuesday, Erykah Badu teased a new video for "Mayiysha (So Long)." The track appears on Robert Glasper's Everything's Beautiful, which reworks a number of Miles Davis songs. Badu wrote the lyrics for her contribution to Davis's original "Maiysha." For the video portion, Badu wrote, directed, and stars as the main character, according to a press release. The concept comes from the song's lyrics and will have Badu playing a character named Sarah Bellam, with Glasper taking on the role of her keyboard player and lover.
