Country's quiet rebel Ashley Monroe recently paid a visit to Memphis' historic Sun Studios. There, she performed a hushed rendition of "From Time To Time," a wistful ballad off her Grammy-nominated album The Blade, with a modest backing band. Less, in Monroe's case, is often more.

“I absolutely loved everything about singing some of my songs at Sun Studio in Memphis," Monroe told The FADER of the experience. "You could feel the ghosts of all the greats that have made history there.”
