For the soundtrack of its spring video campaign, Prada has tapped endlessly imaginative Venezuelan producer and former The FADER cover star Arca. The video, titled "Family Violence," is a collage of disconnected, textural shots that highlight the slightly eerie atmosphere and intricate detailing of their spring 2016 collection. Prada describes the film as a study in "fragmenting" and "layering the decades of the past," an ethos echoed by Arca's original composition, which weaves traditional orchestral instruments into a loose, deconstructed tableau. This isn't Prada's first foray into the world of experimental electronic composition, Dazed notes that their spring menswear campaign film, released last week, is soundtracked by Lotic's "Slay."
