After a brief hiatus, Angel Haze is building steam ahead of her forthcoming mixtape Back To The Woods, which is expected to be released on September 14. Early single "Impossible" was not short on her trademark vehemence. But on her latest, "Babe Ruthless," she one-ups that turn by taking on the role of your favorite rapper's mortician.

"Babe Ruthless is my Machiavelli," she told The FADER. "It's me becoming Super Saiyan. It's me becoming something you can't label or contain and being better at it than all the versions of myself who've stepped up to bat before me.”
