Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, Lil Dicky Among 2016 XXL Freshman Class

Each year XXL releases its Freshman Class selections of rising stars in hip-hop to much speculation. This year's class includes: Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, Anderson .Paak, Desiigner, Lil Dicky, Dave East, Denzel Curry, G Herbo, and 21 Savage. Selections cover a range of regions, with both Kodak Black and Curry being from Florida. No female artists made this year's cover as opposed to covers past that have included the likes of Iggy Azalea and Angel Haze.
