Last month at a show in L.A., Vic Mensa performed two new tracks. One of those was a collaboration with Skrillex, and the official version surfaced today as an exclusive through Apple Music. According to Mensa's Twitter, "No Chill" also involves Jahlil Beats, the producer behind Bobby Shmurda's "Hot Nigga" and Boogie's "Oh My Goodness." The track combines a pummeling, brassy beat with ghostly, pitch-altered vocals that waft through the background. Mensa compares himself to Derek Jeter, David Copperfield, Jesus, and Stephen Curry. He also interpolates Allen Iverson's famous practice quote. Listen below, and read FADER's interview with Jahlil Beats.
