Next up is Skipper, who is preparing to release a new mixtape called The Thrill that is inspired by that moment in a rising rap career when "you don't have it yet, but you're on your way to get it." Today he delivers the first single off that project, a gritted teeth grind called "Don't Change," which finds him pledging: I ain't stopping till you know my name/ Know I'm always repping HBK the gang/ All I know, I'm riding in my own lane. "I knew I wanted to come back around with that hard, in your face street sound with an upgraded flow," he told The FADER. "I feel like 'Don't Change' is me on the next level."
