Watch The Rise Of House Music In The New Trailer For ‘Eden’
Mia Hansen-Løve’s film opens in the States on June 19th.
The official U.S. trailer for Eden, Mia Hansen-Løve's film about the rise of house music, hit the internet yesterday. As dance music becomes an ever-bigger presence in pop's mainstream, there has been increased interest in tracking the genre's historical development, leading to projects like Eden—which is loosely-based on the experiences of Mia's brother Sven, a longtime French DJ. The clip for the movie features several Daft Punk songs, and the French duo apparently play a small part in the movie's plot, though they will be portrayed by actors. According to Beatport, the film's soundtrack will also include Kings of Tomorrow, Joey Beltram, Paul Johnson, Frankie Knuckles, and Octave One.
Eden opens in NY and LA on June 19th.
