Rochester, NY outfit Joywave are gearing up for their spring release How Do You Feel Now? and now they just dropped a chilly new single. "Bad Dreams" taps Chicago's Mick Jenkins and London's Little Simz for an oddly alluring slow burner about speeding up. If it's something in my teeth then it's probably cause I never really flossed on 'em—lolz, but somehow these three names spanning two continents gel into something sweet. "Our friend put us on to Mick's track 'Martyrs' awhile ago, which we loved," Joywave's Daniel Armbruster and Sean Donnelly comment. "Fast-forward, we had this tune almost done with empty verses that seemed totally in his lane. It was a no-brainer.The verse from Little Simz came unexpectedly but she killed it and added a crazy dynamic to the song." How Do You Feel Now? drops April 21st.
