After teasing his upcoming project (possibly titled Evol, as in backwards love) recently with the love-denouncing track "Monster" - I don't be trusting these hoes, I just be smashing these hoes - Future crops up today with a guest verse on a new song/video from Keyshia Cole. Cole is full of regret and heartache on the smooth jam, but it's Future's raw musings on a past relationship that are really pulling at our heartstrings. The verse is as bumpy as any long-term relationship, reminiscing on the good times - I got your back like you got mine, baby, fuck everything else - before a spiritual epiphany and some harsh truths: I switched it up, got princess cuts, this shit don't mean a thing/ She on my nuts, she said 'you can't keep your dick in your jeans.' With Ciara and Future still keeping tight-lipped on the apparent end of their IRL engagement, this feels pretty close to the bone.
