For all their pop acumen and ability to turn industrial coldness into something that accommodates actual hooks, Stockholm's Holograms are still great at making dark, yelpy, vital noise. "Flesh and Bone" is the first single from Forever, their upcoming sophomore album on Captured Tracks (out September 3rd), and it is reminiscent of the awesome, skeletal, lo-fi demos that popped up on those Rhino-released Cure reissues a few years ago. Seems like pretty great company.
