Stalley is a meat and potatoes rapper, usually content to pick solid beats and speak plainly over them, which is what he does on "Swangin," a sparkling, slow-moving Block Beattaz-produced track. There are moments where he shines though, rapping vivid imagery like, Them gold flakes make it rainbow/ when the sun hit it, it shine from every angle/ furry red dice dangle from the rearview, a pimp's cathedral. The inclusion of Scarface is always welcome: as he gets older, the Houston rapper's voice sounds increasingly like it was carved from a slab of granite, baritone and immovable.
