Future kicks off a promising 2013 with a mixtape showcase of friends like Young Scooter, Casino and Slice 9 from his Freebandz Entertainment label, which joined major Epic after Future inked a joint-venture deal last year. The tape's emerging stars are awkwardly balanced by radio stalwarts like Drake, Lil Wayne and Birdman. Highlights inclue an interlude from Dungeon Family cornerstone Big Rube, overblown guitar ballad "Chosen One" and the champion vocal cracks of "Karate Chop," first released in November, and produced by Metro Boomin—he's one to watch if you've enjoyed Future's work with Sonny Digital and Mike Will Made It.
