Rick Ross and Lil Wayne have been added to the star-studded Creed II soundtrack. Mike WiLL Made-It — who has been tapped to curate the album — announced the news in separate Instagram posts this week.
"RICKY ROSÉ CONFIRMED ON THE #CREEDIISOUNDTRACK," Mike Will wrote on one post along with a photo of him and Ross. The Atlanta super-producer also unveiled that Wayne would take part in the soundtrack, uploading a text message conversation with Wayne's longtime friend and label president Mack Maine. The exchange shows Maine sending Mike Will an apparent vocal session from Weezy for the film.
In recent weeks, Mike Will has teased a number of other artists who also might appear on the soundtrack via Instagram, including YG, Nas, and Swae Lee among others. Creed II will star Michael B. Jordan, with Ryan Coogler directing. The film is due out in theaters on November 21.
