Meghan Remy's always-incredible solo project U.S. Girls returns with newfound glamour on "Jack," a cover of Brock Robinson's 1991 song about dreaming he was Jack the Ripper. Like U.S. Girls' best songs, the sound is still raw, though more pop-mindedly sculpted than ever; "Jack" is less noisy riffing on ’60s R&B than a proper embodiment. U.S. Girls' GEM LP comes out October 23rd via FatCat.
